The biggest problem with wet lay for asthetics is that dry cloth distorts very easily and the second you have a bit of weave distortion is that the component then looks toilet. Perople don't quite seem to grasp that...
As a CF laminator it has got to be real or GTFO. It also has to be prepreg, wet lay is dirty, messy, smelly and old fashioned method now which you will be left with a heavier, weaker product.
Some of the wet lay stuff I have seen for sale on here quite frankly looks horrendous and if I'm honest...
Ha, not quite tony. I just found myself getting a bit bored with my Clio as its a 50 mile a day commute. However all is well again and I'm getting an rs2 fitted in just over a week's time :)
Had mine replaced free of charge at Jaybee renault in Banbury last weekend.
They also performed a 21 point check. I imagine trying to drum up some work. Unfortunately for them everything they reccomended is being taken care of by s & mwn on the 3rd of June.
Just ordered some brembo hc friont discs, ds2500 front pads and some oem rear pads
this month is getting expensive now with cambelt change and rs2 manifold fitting in couple of weeks :S
Got my bonnet catch replaced at Jaybee in Banbury this morning after recieving a recall letter earlier in the week.
postman has dropped off my powerflex dogbone kit (no sign of my vibra technics mounts yet)
Also just ordered brembo hc front discs, ferodo ds2500 and rear oem pads.

Mine has started using a bit of oil now, between 500ml and 750ml per 1000 miles depending on how its driven. Exhaust is pretty black I run a decatted yozza.
My 182 is going down to James to have a rs2 fitted along with cambelt and dephaser so they are going to check it out for me...
Looks great. I've got a 2004 racing blue 182, how have you found your new inlet manifold? I'm getting one fitted in 3 weeks.
