yeah they have gone up a bit since I last looked at them (over a year ago now) only 490 without the silencer :p
Speak to Fred at BTM with regards his stealth system he designed not sure on cost, It will be beautifully made though.
Ordered a 2nd hand engine for my 182, should be with James and Mike down in Staines towards the end of next week. Fingers crossed it is as described when they get it.
Could do with my car back originally I was only due to have my horrid Chevrolet Spark for 5 days now it has turned in to a...
If you wanted a stealth style then I would be contacting Fred or buying a supersprint one. Read far too many threads with regards to droning ktec stealths
Well Just spoke to James, just completed a compression test. Results being 175 over each cylinder. So not amazing but not bad for an engine on 117k miles. I was very nervous with regards these results and it does feel like a weight has been lifted somewhat. Its now all steam ahead for James and...
I'm going the skoda route with mine as my cup splitter is smashed to bits, and I'm not paying for a Renault one or forking out on a carbon one.
Even if they survive the carbon ones end up all stone chipped/sand blasted and look terrible imo.
It is the top of the range with alloys, rear parking sensors (why?) and air con :p hopefully I'm not going to have it for 3 weeks, fingers crossed I should be getting the clio back on Friday
Yeah I will have dropped a fair old wedge into it. I had to do something with it to spark my interest again, I had made the descision that undertaking this work means that the Clio will be staying as a toy for quite some years to come as quite frankly it would pain me to sell it for peanuts in a...
I've got a set of brembo hc front discs and ds2500 pads going on this week. In general I've heard very good feedback, but we'll see how we go with them. I'm coming from genuine Renault ones
You could do all the prep work at home, but for a big panel like that I'd get a pro to spray it. carbon is tricky stuff to laquer, loves to leave pinpricks
If its lacquered with anti uv laquer then its fine, if its unlacquered then uv rays will over time degrade and yellow the resin
Also Untreated carbon isn't waterproof, well it will be waterproof for a while but over time you can get water ingress which over time could ruin the component...
Well I think its about time I started a Project thread for my 182.
I've owned it for just over two years now and has done me well. I originally bought it with about 80,000 on the clock and as it has been my daily driver it is now sitting on 117k.
When the car was bought it was a completely...
The rs192 is meant to be a nice sounding exhaust, fairly quiet through town but when pressing on it comes to life a bit more.
If you want loud get a decatted yozza:evil:
We could do, I'm still not sure if I'm going to CSS, I'm sure I will feel like it more once I have my car back.
What time were people going to CSS? gates open at 10:30
What sort of dates were people thinking?
I wont have my clio next week as having rs2 fitted and then we have to consider CSS is the 22nd June. Are people going to CSS? I don't know if I am yet or not. How people would feel meeting the week before or after CSS? too much? Any ideas??? I quite like...
Car looks great. The clean silver works well with the bright graffiti.
That splitter though :p
Fitting a skoda one to mine next week as my standard one is cracked
Had mine over two years now and it has turned in to a keeper, its getting rs2 manifold fitted in a weeks time and slowly over the next year or so will be getting ready for its retirement as daily driver to weekend toy/track ****
