Its not just a clear cut whats it worth there are many factors to consider
Is it a standard bonnet skinned in carbon or a proper carbon bonnet?
any yellowing of the resin?
How stiff is it? just a couple of plies requiring bonnet pins/catches or is it structural and uses the standard catch...
I commute 250 miles a week in mine, even with a decat'd yozza. Don't have any problems, don't really think the 1*2s are bad on fuel.
If it is an everyday commuting car is go for a 182ff if you wanted to be modifying it in particular suspension is go for a 172.
Think I've got a cracked abs ring, got in the car Monday eve to drive to work after not driving it all weekend and at slow speed breaking the pedal feels like the abs half-heartedly kicking in.
Rears were new genuine ones a couple of months ago, god knows how old the fronts are.

I've opted for a set of Toyo snoprox, from tyres-pneus. I had ordered a full set of hankook i*cept's from camskill and surprise surprise despite saying instock on the website got an email today to say they are out of stock with no delivery date.
I ran it for two weeks before it was mapped, and in that time it did not get thrashed. I had just changed lumps and wasn't going to risk the replacement going pop.
Well mine needed quite a bit of work to the map as the first run had to be aborted as it started running way too lean....
It also ran like s**t before it was mapped.

Charlie seemed a little disappointed when I took it down to SRR for a rolling road day as it was running a touch rich, he thinks it should be low to mid 190's, Something for Mike to take a look at when I get my suspension refresh sorted.
Yeah original engine had heavy scoring on the cams and followers were talking a 2mm gouge :eek:
