Thanks, by time the replacement engine had dropped a valve I had already got myself far too deep financially with it so had no real option except to get it sorted :)
Cheers Chip it pulls very well, Ideal for a road car which will end up doing the odd track day imo
I'm sure if you ask nicely...
Was up at Surrey Rolling Road today with a few cliosport members and clio16v members.
I'm pretty pleased with the results, Charlie informed me that its running a bit rich and in his opinion should be closer to the 195bhp mark.
Mike at MWM has had a look at the graphs and it is a suspect inlet...
Reasonably pleased, was running a touch rich. Spoke to Mike and its potentially the inlet temp sensor playing up.
Guys at SRR said it should be closer to 195bhp
Was good to have a chat put another face to a name :) I'll leave it til you update your thread but you cant complain with what you recorded
That grey turbo'd mk1 1.8 was mental 317bhp I think.
I believe I saw/sat in Markcups? ST today at Surrey rolling road. They really look so much nicer in the flesh.
The seats are fantastic lovely and comfy but very supportive.
Got mine today too, need to have a second look but first impressions seems like a nice selection.
As far as last months goes, I really liked the shampoo, I wasn't quite so impressed with the sealant or the tire shine.
It seems to be running very well gaz. Mike @ MWM seemed very pleased needed more fuel than my old engine did running the rs2 manifold so fingers crossed for good power when I manage to get it on the rolling road.
Hasn't burnt a drop of oil which comes as a massive relief!
Yeah that's starting to get quite high consumption. I think by the end mine was burning about 1l for 400-500miles. First thing would be a compression check to determine if the rings are going.
