I sprayed mine when i had my 1.2. Was quite interesting to say i had never sprayed before but i looked at the costs of doing them myself compared to getting them done at a body shop and i went ahead and bought everything. Got most of it online as the primer is pretty cheap also got different...
Looks good, i actually don't mind the sticker on the roof although i don't think i'd have it. I assume it means the same to you as what i'm thinking? (jackin house, ryan james?). Think im going to have to buy some plastidip and give it ago, looks pretty decent from what i have seen.
I can see alot of manufacturers being happy with the change of the connector. If you think about it hardy anyone needs a new dock if they already have one even from back in the iPod days, changing the dock connection allows them to build all new devices to sell.
I gave up in the end, will either attempt it some other time or get a garage to do it. After loosening the top engine mount and top gearbox mount. Taking the two bolts from the side of the gearbox, taking the two bolts from the mount it was still hard in there. I managed to just get the top...
Found someone else posting on here who asked the same thing, so now I have.
Taken the battery out, supported the gearbox. Loosened the two bolts on the top gearbox mount. Taken out the two bolts fastening the gearbox to the body one had the earth strap attached. Jacked the gearbox up slightly =...
Afternoon, I am currently in the process of trying to change one of the lower mounts that is on the gearbox ( is not the dog bone one, I'll attach a picture)
I have the new one and have the bolts off the old one, I have the car up on axel stands and the engine jacked up at the sump.
There is...
I don't know if there is a difference in the sensor for a 1.2 and a 1*2 but it could well be this sensor. You don't get any lights on the dash with this and is a common fault with starting problems like this i have found from on here. First i would try locating your sensor (on a 1*2 its above...
A friend of mine wrote this off a few years back and someone bought it from auction that i'm assuming to repair it. It shows up on askMID as being insured but had a search and nothings come up on here. Anyone ever seen it?
Re: can still use my controls on my steering wheel with a new head unit as its notwor
Would be useful if we know what the model of your head unit is first. It may support remote or it may not. If it does you'll need to know what type of headunit has come out of your car, tuner list or...
Evening, (or morning?!)
Back into uni accommodation in September and they've changed internet providers to be less picky and basically do what we want including routers however...
The connection only allows one registered device (registered through the mac address)
I can pay for extra...
Yeah they'll be set to automatic so come on when its dark without needing to do anything. If you want to turn this off put the ignition on and do a turn of the switch on and off twice of the lights and you'll hear a beep to say its been de-activated.
I watched all the way through, i wonder why the S3 didn't keep closer in some parts when it looked like it was easy and clear to do. Hopefully not someone off here though :\
Welcome! have a search on here there are quite a few people with simple mods to make it look that little bit better. Maybe post a picture or two up and people can make some suggestions for you. + i recommend you to sign up to be a club member, you'll get access to the for sale section and other...
oh dear, looks like its come off from a previous repair on the bumper or a respray it may have had. Notice the silver inserts next to the 'vent' holes, they should be black if it was original.
Today i sat and found every receipt i have for the car since i have owned it (not long, Jan 3rd). I've found copies for parts I've ordered off ebay and printed the receipts out for them. I've got everything from bulbs to oil that I've done. I also have plenty of service and other ones from the...
Haha please excuse my technical terms ;),
Thats the bit that's gone so it seems they've ordered the right part. Now off to find some gearbox oil.
Cheers
The piece of rubber seems to have split at the top and is leaking gearbox oil at times. I can see the split quite clear so I am assuming its just that that needs replacing rather than the expense of a whole new shaft?
Afternoon, rang Renault up about an inner seal for the drive shaft and the part they are ordering me has this 7701470567, I trust they are right but would rather not make the trip if I know it's going to be wrong.
Cheers
Mine seems to have some damage at the top thus making gear box oil come out occasionally, noticed the other day a drop of oil on the drive, took a look Friday night with the airbox off and i can see where it has split.
Is it new drive shaft time or can something be changed like the seal?
yeah i could see that, although on this it seems the rubber has tore away from part of it with a finger gap between pretty much. Seems when i had my gear box changed when i first got the car they decided to mess everything up at the same time!
Cheers for the replays mate, its appreciated.
While I'm at it I will change the dog bone one so in turn all three will have been done.
This is the one that's gone Here.
Maybe it's called something different because searching lower engine mount on eBay only comes up with that one and I'm sure there are more for sale out there.
Cheers for that! did what you said and it has made a noticeable difference! but is still there when its really moving. When under my car earlier on i actually saw the lower engine mount and it really needs a new one as its come away from the rubber in places so hopefully that along with a new...
