Where about you working up this way?
replaced the gearbox in my `95 Valver but when the guy has taken the speedo cable from the old box, the metal bit has been left in n seems to be stuck. is there any particular way it should come out or is brute force gunna be the answer!?

i think everyones imobiliser f***s up in different ways n its a bit hard to explain s**t over the internet. im in the same boat!
car is a ph1 1.8 16v
And in town the other night my battery light came on and stayed on but everything was still working fine. the next night i took it out (light still on) got about 5 miles down the road, wipers n that started slowing down so pulled over n car cut out then wouldnt start, gave...
My 1.8 16v clio had one fitted when i bought it n truthfully iv not really heard anyone say anythin good about them and supposedly do more damage than good. is it worth removing it?
well its like an empty socket when you see it. in my haynes manual it says the central locking timer should be there n quite obviously isnt. just wondered if it could be anythin to do with the imobiliser problem iv got.

Was lookin for some help, if you have one of the above cars, could you please look in the main fusebox in the passenger footwell and see if you have anything in the plug circled yellow in the pics below?

what kinda age could you go upto? like thers a `99 1.2 clio box with low miles or would it have to be the same phase?
wuda been givin it a go with the old man. how come? theres a reconed one on ebay for £295 buy it now
do no littler ones fit like the 1.2 or 1.6 if there is such?
did anyone say they had a problem with the immobiliser? when i turn my car off i have to wait about ten minutes before the immobiliser "mobilises" so to speak but the button locks n unlucks the doors no bother
