Ha the mower is my bosses old one that he said chuck as it doesn't work......started first pull:S Hence why it's in my garage;)
The cage is cracking on now, I will drop by on him later this week to get a few more pictures for your eyes providing it has moved on abit further!
BTW, I missed your...
I have been in a couple of ITB'd cars and after spending most of the day at Donnington in Lewis Taylor's I got home and bought some! lol
Knowing me I probably just bought them for the sound:o
Update
Right, once again more goodies have turned up that I probably don't need but they were there for the right price:D
Just need a back plate for the air filter and an ecu..
Excuse the dirty engine...

I have done around 3000 road miles on my RSR's, 1 hot track day, 1 wet track day and a 2 days spent at the Nurburgring. They have 5mm tread remaining on the fronts and around 5.5mm on the back. (I rotate them after a while)
For the money I really cannot fault them. They have done exactly what...
Re: Boosted BlackGold Project - F4rT content.
We all know it will be an awesome project.......it's what we do in the east;)
Let me know if you need a hand with anything mate as I'm always here to help....and supply a small workshop:)
tbf I am not massively impressed with this setup either. I cook mine on track all the time even in the poring Welsh rain. Went through a set of Brembo H/C's in 4 track days and 5k road miles, warped and scored beyond what will wear back down.
I used to have a Yozzasport system with a silenced decat and IMO it was far too loud. I do miss the rasp on full chat but the drone between 2 and 3k was horrendous. I now infact have a Milltek with the silenced decat and is pretty quiet but doesn't sound anything special.
Here is my Yozza and...
A chap just down the road from me called Ashley Sermon who is Automotive Sporting Heritage. He will also do me a fuel tank and rad at a later stage. Couldn't recommend him enough
A poor excuse of an update....
The chap doing my cage has had plenty of other things to do before my car so has just started it this week.
Unfortunately he rang me yesterday saying that where he was going to be welding around the main hoop feet there would be far to much heat going through...
Going from my RSR's to my Contactsports are comparable tbh.
I am now deaf today as a consequence of spending all yesterday passenger you Lewis..;)
..On another note, I liked the sound of your throttle bodies so much that I came home and have agreed to buy some!...Just awaiting the reply!
Thanks Ben:)
The shell went off ages ago to have the cage put in but the chap that is doing it for me has only just started today so starting to get very excited once again!
More updates soon......I hope
I don't have a budget as such but want things done properly on it so it will be the best spec that I can afford at the time.
The engine that will go in this year will just be a standard 172 unit albeit with a fresh cambelt on. I also have another engine which I will be building up with a forged...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Great read James and once again really good to see you at Llandow:)
That gear linkage looks like it would work for all forward gears but how would you engage reverse?
