Not sure about a guide but you can do it with the light in situ. They are a pain and you have to be careful with them as it will break quite easily. Best to use and little lube on the ball to help it in. I also wrapped a piece of cotton around the end of the shaft to pull it straight in once it...
Are you just referring to the xenon unit inside the light unit that is sitting down?
If so then it will be either a broken arm from the adjuster or that is is not connected. It's a socket and ball type connection
He has indeed. I am infact working for him too atm because he is very busy and promises me that it will be done soon!
Once I have it back I will get it as complete as I can then it will go back to him and have a rad and tank made

A pathetic update...
Last week my dampers arrived from being rebuilt! Wow only 3 months turn around.. So I built them up and took a photo as I couldn't even remember what they looked like its been so long;)

I have found that my kick in my standard 182 is much bigger than my ph1 and others that I have driven or been in, so I would say they all vary considerably
