Lol @ the Video, I came in way to fast and the brakes just fadded! Someone was pushing me from behind ;)
Yeah that pictures with Jamie in the car, this was taken after but I look a right tool!
Cars awsome Adam, was impressed with the brakes! Cheers for the Helmet too Chris :) saves me...
What a Great day! Alot better track than Rockingham and deffinatly alot more suited to the Clio. Was great to meet a load of you again and meet some new faces too! Glad Adam got his car sorted and thanks for the ride!
I had SOOOO much fun but I now need 4 new PE2's (which I must say did...
Right, a few quick photos of the design molds:
Took this mold to make sure the duct fits inside the fog light area perfectly. I will be making a reverse mold of this to give me my base from which I will build up the scoop and outer cup. Surface finish isnt important... hense the cling film...
Nah ANPR wont pick it up unless the car is flagged up as having no Tax or Mot etc other wise it wont be bought to the cops attention as ANPR only checks the vitals. I drove around in my Mk1 in primer for a month or so until I sprayed it orange
Cool little cars, when my mate worked for Fiat he had one to rock around in. I found it funny that it the engine bay wasnt painted... just finished in primer/protection coat.
Will just be a dint, as long as its not cracked it'll be fine and fixable. Turinis can take some hammer, ive knocked mine a few times and they've been fine.
Even tho I just have a polydog bone I find the the vibration on idel with the A/C on unbearable! I find myself with my foot on the accelerator @ 1200 rpm!
without A/C on is ok but the dash/steering wheel does vibrate about 20% more than standard.
Tbh, I think you went wrong with wanting to build a car in the first place, You dont need a track car with stiff suspension and sticky tyres to enjoy a track day... But I can see the apeal of building a car and I think alot of people get more satisfaction from doing so.
put up or shut up ;)
Gauging interest with this at the moment so CS feedback would be great!
Im currently designing a pair of Cup Racer style brake ducts that can be used without having to remove the fog light brakets making them ideal for people who would want to revert to standard in the future.
At the moment...
