Orite son! Nothing really haha can't splash out on cams or anything at the moment so was going to get a remap to compliment my panel filter and new de-cat exhaust when its on!
I know it's a different car but on my 1.1 saxo I had a sportex exhaust, and tbh for the money it was fine, lasted the 2 years I had the car (before I wrote it off lol) had no problems with it, apart from the drone on long journeys, but you soon get used too it. They are also loud, very loud...

I did the same (best quote was admiral for me) the guy said quickly email me some screen shots of the quote from admiral.. 10 mins later they matched it and was sorted :)
A good normal exhaust? I don't think Renault know what that means. And f**k buying a pattern one.
It's common sense (unless wanting to be totally OEM) to get a stainless exhaust instead of the rusty s**tty standard ones.
Like he says why would he lie, not everyone wants an exhaust for...
Anyone know of anywhere decent to get my car remapped in the north-east? Prefer not to travel too far really but if there isn't anywhere decent around me then guess I'll have too lol

Big silencer that! A new pipe would probably be the easier option looking at the size of that, straight through centre pipe, MIJ should do it although heard mixed reports on the quality..
Ah ok mate haha mine was like a dump valve but a s**t one that whistles (bit like them daft exhaust whistles on ebay I'd imagine haha) Only did it at low revs when slowing down at about 3.5k revs and below!
The hanger is further down than where you took the pic though IIRC? so if there isn't one is the only hanger you have the backbox one? Good your getting it sorted as pretty sure it will be putting a lot of stress on the manifold etc!
Ok im gunna sound like a total novice (which i am) but my car whistles loudly when the revs are dropping (from about 3k) could this be a leak of some kind if it is compression
