My 1.2 mk2 ph2 takes about £45-50 from petrol light.
Once filled the comp will say 415 miles (not sure what I can actually do though!)
I always thought it was a 40 liter tank :S
Average MPG is 34mpg
Hi all,
Im posting from phone so sorry thats its brief.
My Clio has recently developed a constant shake from the front end.
It is primarily noticeable through the steering wheel, but if im on a smooth road like the motorway, i can feel it through the pedals and even the seat too.
Its a...
Picked up the part today, will fit it tonight.
Would it be advisable to use any type of sealer?
Or maybe chuck some of this in ? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_208015_langId_-1_categoryId_255217#tab1

Everybody raves about how well the Clio handles.
I don't know if it's just mine but I think it handles like sh1t!
The grip limit is FAR FAR too soon it's actually funny.
Is there something wrong with my car?
Clio MK2 PH2 1.2 16v 2004 - No handling modification done.
Hello
I'm replacing my thermostat on Wednesday and would like to drain all the current coolant (probably 8-10% coolant at the minute) and then replace the thermostat and fill up with fresh 50/50 coolant/water but not sure the best way to drain the coolant (and flush the old stuff out).
Anybody...
Sorry, my mistake I did actually mean the thermostat housing. That's where it's leaking from.
So the thermostat housing is not on the cambelt?
It's a Clio MK2 PH2 1.2 16v
Hi
I'm loosing coolant fast.
It leaks a whole header tank in about 20 miles!
I think I've found the leak, it looks like it's coming from the water pump. My friend says it's a seal on the waterpump and you can see dried/burnt coolant on the gearbox.
Am I going to need a new pump?
I know I will...
I'd have to disagree - I have some plastic plain pressed plates from demonplates. same font etc and i find them to make the car look much more clean and smart.

Hey..
Whilst generally living my life being a prat I managed to stick a jack through the door sill on the drivers side and punctured a hole through it.
I'm wondering what you guys should suggest for filling it in as the last thing I want is it to rust as there is no rust anywhere else on the car...
If it's got all the mods you want, then go check it out in person, and make sure you check everything else is fine as he 'says'.
Also, take along with you a list of things to check, I think there is a thread on here with some tips on what to look out for when buying clios.
Good luck
Don't bother, get a car that works.
I'm sure there will be something else wrong with it too.
It would cost you more to repair it then to save a bit more and get the car you want. (that works).
The red drum brake looks mint on your car!
Get them plastics colour coded and your done :)
http://www.spray-shack.co.uk/ can do the colour coding, they are a trader for ClioSport and have very good rep!
