Ultra homo car, how many times have you pumped your hairdresser boyfriend parked up in a dark alley way in it? :)
I'd well have one though, absolutely beautiful looking motor! That red with those alloys is sexual.
I was wondering, I just seen this video. Does your tensioner move and bounce back when you apply pressure on the belt run like in this video? When I apply pressure on mine the tensioner doesn't move. If it's the case that it is supposed to move it's probably the reason why mine sounds like it's...
Sounds like it's probably had an engine transplant does it sound anything like this?
But seriously we're going to need more information, "engine noise" is a tad vague. Dephaser pulley on its way out, incorrectly timed, over/under tensioned belt, misfiring due to injectors/coils/sparks...
Yeah that is a shame :( Really liked his channel at the beginning, but it got to the point where like 1 in 5 of his videos were actually an engineering mechanical explanation video, I just stopped watching at that point.
Engineering explained used to be pretty good loads of good technical automotive engineering explanations. Got to a point where he was just reviewing cars and stuff got a bit boring stopped watching, still a brilliant channel though!
Also Mighty car mods and Eric the car guy every now and again...
Nice one dude, I'll probably do mine again next year or the year after as that will be like 4/5 years. Car has been running fine for over 2 years and it's just my run about to work. But it's annoying knowing that I did everything correctly but it just doesn't seem 100% right lol. It just seems...
Hey, with mine once it has warmed up and gets higher up the rev range it has this whining sound like a supercharger. Sounds like the belt has been over tensioned, which annoys me because when I did it I followed every instruction exactly as it was explained and everything was fine when I put it...
I had this exact phone back in the days. Had it when I was like in 2nd year or something of academy, think I was one of the first kids to have one. I thought I was well ace like Zach Morris from saved by the bell. Man where did those 20 years ago...
If it was on and isn't now and there is a problem it should still log and store the codes, if they haven't been wiped since it came on. Yeah get them to check it anyway :)
Try the usual suspects, crank sensor, injectors or coil pack. If it's actually turning fine but just not firing I'd rule out the starter motor. Also if the EML is flashing best to get it hooked up on diagnostics to better pin point the problem, or you might be throwing money at parts you don't need.
Cancelled mine a while back, best thing I ever did. Saved a load of money on something that just wasn't worth it. I only watch like 3 shows now and i can get them for a fraction of the cost of a rip off Sky package. I find a lot of the younger generation are streamlining how they consume the...
