could have replaced that at the time if you had a bit of copper brake pipe and some fittings handy. Dont leave stuff to chance with brakes ever tbh
to save all that, just keep moving it around every few weeks saves all the weight being in the same spot on the tyres. Trickle charger for the battery is helpful too
nothing to worry about really imo, mine does it slightly and its a new stat and seal with new coolant which is bled up properly.
If you change the stat get the genuine seal, non OEM leak like buggery 100%
if you are keeping the car then I'd do it, simply for the fact that its washable item that you can re-oil rather than bin when it gets dirty. New out of the box they last 4 times aslong as a normal air filter does anyway or there abouts
