Swapping the mods are easy Dan but the ecu isnt so because your car has had a custom remap and obviously not all engines map the same.

Apart from the silly extension on the rear bumper and the manky looking passenger seat thats cheap for a V5 STI....I dont know if it's the light but the front end looks a different shade of silver mind.

If its a V3 with the pre facelift dash then its a cable driven.....Off the top of my head I can't think what the male/female plug is going through the bulk head. Did you have the cluster right out? .....because you need to disconnect the cable from the speedo head to do that...

Gutted for you fella :( I thought your car is a V3?....so is cable driven, a mechanical drive not electronic.....The only wiring is from the cluster back to the ecu.

Yeh take it for a quick spin.....You won't damage it if the speedo isnt working, the ESL board you have may not need a signal from the speedo, just see if it revs over 4.5k

Not a lot you can check without taking the cable out and checking.....Have you a CEL on? Go for a drive and see if the revs are restricted(4.5k)

They can be alittle tricky to do but stright forward....Usually throws it in limp mode.

More than likely the lower speedo cable has broken.

I have seen grp replica bumpers but best off trying to find one from a car being broken, expect to pay £300+ for one mind.....The bug in the photo is actually a JDM car and not a UK Prodrive, its known as a Prodrive Style, same bumper but has a roof vent.

The Newage WRX has 3 CATS, the main down pipe, secondary CAT and the uppipe is also a CAT. The STI has no CAT in the uppipe so aids spool and is a cheap mod if you can pick one up. The TGV's(Tumber Generator Valves) are basically butterfly valves which direct air over the injector for a better...

Nice....someone has obviously swapped out the TD04 turbo for something bigger and replaced the 380cc injectors and had it mapped.....That power is also right on the limit of the TMIC..

To be fair, I don't think there is any mapper out there that hasn't had an unhappy customer from time to time who is only to keen to post about their experience on an internet forum. I've had two other mappers map my cars, one mapped it so safe it never exploited the mods and the cold start was...
