Seen a new shape ly 200 and a black 200 and rb 197 on my travels to York this week, lovely looking motors. No one waves back though

Not at all, Some people on here swear by shell v power which is 99ron others just stick morrisons 95 petrol in. Personal preference I don't think mine runs any better on the higher octane stuff but I still fill it with v power ha.

Hello chaps! Just been for a very short drive in the 200, parked up to get some food and when I set of again the car felt sluggish and like the handbrake was stuck on. Got home and the rear right disc was glowing hot and the handbrake cable was slack. Seized cable caused this? Any way to free...

Have a search on here, I'm not clued up on what oil you should use, they do say use fully synthetic oil in them though.

Could try changing the gearbox oil see if that helps? If not I'd get on to ruk on Monday. Good luck though, let us know how you get on.

I can't really answer that one... Just speaking from my experience. It's not all of them, if you search on clio197.net they have a poll who has had a gearbox replaced. I wouldn't let it put you of buying one, I'd just check throughly that it changes gear smoothly and doesn't crunch.

Get on to RUK and tell them about it, they usually offer you something towards the price, how much is anyone's guess. I got 75% towards a new box but as Daniel says needs re building to stop the chance of it happening again.

Can anyone tell me what to torque the torque bar engine mount up to? Had a search but couldn't find it, cars a clio 200. Cheers

I'd of been up for this but the 200 has a couple of issues so trying not to drive it much until the weekend after next when it goes to diamond to be looked at. Cheers though.

My 200 (59 plate) box went at 25000 ish miles, I've only covered 5000 miles on the new box so I'm still driving with my fingers crossed it doesn't go again.

I'm in Beverley mate, so just down the road. Same here, I occasionly pass a rb 200 in Bev and a white 200 goes to my gym. But apart from that not much really.

Does anyone know any good places to get the glass screen replaced? Or is it easier to just book an appointment with Apple and go there.

I got the 6 two days a go, liking the screen size although it's a pain trying to figure out how to hold it. Dropped it last night also after a few too many ! It took the impact well and have only got the smallest of chips on the corner.

NGK PFR6E10 Apologies to start with for the newbie question. Are these the correct plugs? Had a search but was not sure if the 200's was different. Anyone know what they should be torqued up to also? Thanks a lot, Gary.
