Two days after I bought my 182 a mate had lent one for the day off another lad we know. The car had been fitted with recaros and he was sending it back as the finance he had on it was extreme and my mate said "offer him £150 to £200 for those...
Black 1*2 looked very low around 5.30pm today on the A181 between Wheatley Hill and Thornley - saw the driver look over and definitely clocked my 182.
Around ten minutes later a blue 1*2 (possibly a 172 cup?) in Peterlee town centre near the traffice lights - dont think he saw me though.
I'm thinking of upgrading the stereo in my car (54 plate 182) but haven't yet seen a Clio with a radio other than standard in. Has anyone got a photo(s) to give me an idea of what they might look like in mine?
Also when changing the head unit do most people change the speakers too, or do the...
Monaco blue 172 on the A1 couple of hours ago.
Racing blue 182 on A1 couple of hours ago with competition stripes.
Both around the Chester lee Street / Washington area.
Inferno parked at Bowburn north industrial estate Tuesday and Wednesday (?) last week.
Black 1*2 at the junction at Sherburn Hospital - around 5.20pm yesterday afternoon.
Inferno close to Tesco's at Gilesgate sometime last night (possibly the same one as in Bowburn?).
Can anyone tell me where the cabin filter is on the Clio 182?
It's the only thing I haven't done on the recent service and tbh I've no idea where it is located.
Cheers for any replies folks.
Just fitted mine after it's MOT this morning - tried it on full lock and when dropping off the kerb (usual places where it does it) and at the moment it's cured.
Two minute job when using a windy gun too.
Just had my 182 in for a MOT and it flew through, though need a couple of tyres in the next few weeks.
Also finally got the strut top washers fitted (bargain at £6 delivered!) and I think I might give it a quick wash after I've got warmed up - anyone else doing bits n bobs with their cars today?
The sportlines on mine have noticably lowered it (supposedly 15mm over the standards) - possibly not as much as I'd have liked, but it's probably the best compromise on looks, handling and ride - especially when there's so many speed bumps around.
I swapped the backs to front last weak as they were starting to get quite worn - and it seemed to make a difference :)
With a bit of luck I'll get round to putting the washers on tomorrow.
