I've just recieved what is supposed to be a genuine Cup splitter from eBay and is brand new. However now it's arrived and I've unpacked it it's got no holes to screw into the bumper - but four cut out parts at each end and in the middle section of the splitter there's four resessed parts of the...
Those are all dealers though, I honestly haven't seen anything above £5999 when looking at dealers and I thought that was extreme - the norm seems to be about £5500 for similar miles with them at the dealers and anything up to a grand less private.
My 182 for example has 27k on, is 54 plate...
Depends. Tyre foam may help seal a sidewall (depending on the damage/split - as it may only be a small puncture and not a total rupture), but using it as anything but a 'get you home' tyre would be idiotic.
It totally depends on what's gone through it or caused the damage - if something...
I'm not 100% up to date, but a few years ago any decent tyre place wouldn't touch a tyre with foam in.
Then again some repair sidewalls and thats as dodgy as it gets - so some will.
I've just been looking for a 182 or 172 over the last month or so and I'd reckon for a private sale warren4 is about right.
If you look around you can get 182's with similar mileage on for the price you have it advertised for on here - but you sometimes have to be quick, or lucky (as I may...
How do you tell if you have a cup pack on yours (i.e. suspension)?
Asking because I've just bought a 182 and until I got there I didn't know it was supposed to have Cup suspension and wouldn't have stopped me purchasing it either way.
...and while I'm over the moon with it - can someone tell me what the craic is with spare wheel, as it doesn't seem to have a well for one and the exhaust is where the under tray would normally be, hence I haven't got one.
Someone enlighten me please :S
Hello, tomorrow I should be picking up my Clio 182. However after looking at some reviews on the internet I've seen many favourable remarks about the car, but also a few negative ones about build quality and reliability.
Seeing as people on here are actually owners of the same cars and many...
If I had a garage I'd keep it, strip it out and use it for track days and do what you said.
So many people are doing that with mk 2 Golf's it's unreal. And to be honest it would be much better value (and more remeberable) than what I normally do on my weekends
Just a quick photo of the old girl from behind ;)
Sorry for posting German cars on your forum mind, been on one or two before and know other marques can have mixed receptions. However I'm a fan of quite a few cars and when they last 15+ years, nomatter what the model I feel you have to pay...
Just twenty years old though!
At the moment I just can't be bothered to be underneath it every weekend fixing it. I love the car and have enjoyed owning it, but ideally something like mine should be kept for weekends/trackdays and something to mess about on, not an everyday runabout - though...
I'm new and just about to buy a 182 (well depending on finance). If I don't get this then I'll probably end up with a 172.
No pics as yet though, currently driving a mk2 Golf GTi 16v.
