So, I bought this 172 off a forum member who'd only had it for 4 weeks or so. Basically it's got a few issues, but nothing major! The main part is the paint is immaculate!

Looks like the fuel return pipe? Also, it's blocked off at the engine too?
Why would anyone do this?
It's a £2k car without the belts being done and needing tax. They're 1 year away from being due for a second time!
He'll say no to £2k, as it'll be easier for him to sell it to someone who doesn't know the belts are overdue (possibly), and get full price

No part ex, I get the Audis through work and can change every 6 months so plan to run the A3 through the winter and 172 in the summer
Ive tried loads of times to buy my old Flamer back, even got him on FB now! Last I heard was he was keeping it another yr
Well the intention was always to keep it from April, when my A1 went back, until September, when my new A3 arrives

My mums car (CMax) had the exact same symptoms, knock when accelerating, then a knock when braking, but never in between. It was the rear bush moving one way, then the other

Thought Bluetooth was standard - my CUP had it back in 2010
Not sure what you were looking for visually, as Bluetooth is all integrated into the hifi, it works via the central screen - it Bluetooth streamed music from my phone, and the aux port was obv for iPods etc
What a day it was yesterday, went to the 'novice' Blyton Park via Javelin Trackdays, along with a Rover 25 GTi, Seat Ibiza Cupra and a 172 CUP and had a brilliant day!
