Il see if I can do one today if the weather stays dry! Il also try doing a better exhaust video as that one really doesn't give a true representation!
Need to fix one of my intercooler pipes first though! Popped off the top of the turbo last night - too much boosting ;) haha
Got a video of the exhaust tonight but it sounds mighty weird. I don't know if the GoPro is just too close as the exhaust is a decatted Yozza so its pretty loud! Il try and take another one some time soon with the camera a little further away!
Anyways see what you think :)...
My LEDs don't look blue. They look white like the xenons! LOL at headlights units aren't designed to work with LEDs, your remembering we are talking about sidelights and not dipped beams aye?
Would agree with taking sidelights out all together looks best, but I won't be doing it.
Anyways back...
That is very fair and everything i've read says that they are very fair! Is there any upgrades that you can do to the syncros to stop this from happening again? I don't know a huge amount about gearbox's!
Looks like you stayed in the same place as James and I did! We got woken up in the morning by the sound of a Zonda thrashing around, best alarm ever!!
Nice folk at the hotel, they let us borrow a garage for a few hours in the evening after we had checked out which was good of them!!
Well I was out in the car tonight and got a crunch going from 2nd to 3rd so the syncro must be on its way out! I'll drive it with some mechanical sympathy just now and then send it away to Agency Transmissions for a rebuild once the car comes off the road for winter, will also change the clutch...
IIRC it's not a quick job, something like 6/7hrs book time. Also remember that labour isn't just someones time, it includes; Rent, heating, lighting, tools, phone lines, internet etc etc etc. So to me £330 doesn't seem too bad IMO.
I hardly noticed much difference when I fitted mine tbh. But I hadn't driven it for a while and already had poly dogbone. Your more than welcome to come and have a seat in my car with the engine running if you wish!
Surely it's worth taking the car to a Renault specialist with CLIP and get them to plug it in and see if it brings up any fault codes to try and narrow it down a bit?
Not yet. I bought the stuff to do a 3" body lift only a few days before the clutch went so will do it during the summer when im changing the clutch! How much is yours lifted?
Did mine at the start of 2013. Lying under the car, outside at 3AM in like 0 degree conditions after many many hours I got longer bolts and thought I had done it. Andy put the car up on the ramps and the bottom hooks weren't even hooked in! LOL
Absolute pain the arse!
The fronts look good, the backs are just a little too wide for me.
You should defo keep them white.... inferno with white wheels is for champions ;)
Got my new wheel on! Its sitting slightly squint but I know that the tracking is miles out so will get that sorted and hopefully it will be ok! It feels so much nicer, it sitting a little closer to me than the standard one and because its smaller it means that I can move it down a little bit...
I can confirm the seating position is very nice, with the sun strip, cage, PMS and seats it feels like a proper little race car!
Very tempted to do the same with my seats!
