It took me and a mate 4 hours for removal and about 5.5 hours for refitting. That's the first time we had done it. We did it across a few days as we were in no rush and waiting on parts.
Wasn't as difficult a job as I was expecting!

From looking at the pictures does it suggest that the seals away? It was only dropping oil when it's hot and I can't see anywhere else that the oil could be coming from.

Well I changed the gearbox in the Dci 80 the other day and it started and drove pretty well. However I noticed that it was starting to drip engine oil from around the bottom of the gear selector and the clutch was slipping when it was coming on boost.

I made a cover by just buying a universal wheel centre cap, carbon wrapping it and sticking a renault sport sticker on it. Looks ok and defo better than nothing!
Just measure the diameter of the hole and order a centre cap off ebay!
I'm looking for a new gearbox for my DCi 80 and a cheap DCi 65 gearbox has come up for sale close to me.
My question is: Is there anything different between the two gearbox's or am I ok to stick the 65 box on my 80?

Well on Thursday I picked up my new run around! It's a DCI 80 that I bought off eBay unseen from a terrible advert so I really was winging it! The advert said that the gearbox had "fragged" whatever that meant but as it was finishing soon if didn't have time to ask the seller.
