Oh, that exhaust would have ruined my time with my old Fiesta.
The induction was tiring at times, having a Cherrybomb exhaust would have tipped me over the edge :smile:
You can also get the Total Oil 5-40 from Peugeot dealers, as suggested, at a cheaper rate than the 5-30.
Older oil but never had any issues with it, even used it in an old 106 gti track car and it held on pretty well (Despite turning to water when under extreme punishment).
I loved mine and miss it.
Best memory was driving from South Somerset to Newcastle and back.. got out both ways feeling fresh as a daisy and it averaged 48mpg over the trip.
Next day, averaged 30mpg kicking it around some lanes.. Fantastic all rounder.

Evening gents,
Could someone please have a bash at changing the wheel colour on my newly acquired Golf?
One of the previous owners had them done black and one of my 1st jobs is to address this!
I'm thinking hi-power silver or some form of anthracite??
@SharkyUK @GiT @Knuckles - Sorry...
At least you've realised now before sinking more cash into it.
I couldn't get along with the EP3 I had a few years back, it was a pre-facelift and just pissed me off most of the time unless caning its arse. It may have been a poor example, yet low down in the rev range it felt as lackluster as...
What made you shift on the Clio? Boredom, fancy a change?
I have been looking at 1*2's, although I'm not sure if I actually want one .. There is a massive lack of decent examples around.
These bloody bootlids make me laugh, BMW have a 12 year corrosion warranty.. Could have been sorted a long time ago for free rather than fillered up.
I think personally, if you are unsure of the car at this stage, I would keep your money in the bank.
Yes a pulley and airbox will make increase...
My 2006 made 211bhp at the fly with an Oranje Airbox and 15% pulley.
It went bloody well tbh and with the one-ball mod, all in it sounded great.
I wouldn't get too excited about the build quality though, the reassuring clunks or thud noise of the doors is usually followed by a rattle/creak...
Whilst the 2005+ box has an LSD, its not really even close to the quality a Quaife would be, as I'm sure you know.
Your a fan of the longer gearing on track also IIRC?
