Mazda MPS 272 bhp - super awesome rapid beast enjoy

I used to work for a Peugeot dealership. They are sort-of getting their act together after years of producing shite. The newer stuff like the new shape 308 is a decent car (won car of the year I believe) but a touch expensive for the market they are aiming the kitted models at.

Mazda MPS 272 bhp - super awesome rapid beast enjoy

The turbo lump in the newer models was a Peugeot affair, the earlier supercharged lump not so, thankfully! (Its a Chrysler/Rover creation IIRC.) Its an awesome little car tbh, struggling to replace it with something of similar value which speaks volumes IMO.

People do have the money to spend, for the right car. Sold my MCS today for the full asking price, after having it advertised for 2/3 days on eBay.

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

------ UPDATE ------ Well, had my 1st viewer for the MINI today and he left me with a £500 deposit. A proper nice chap that is an enthusiast with MINI's. He assured me it will be pampered and actually asked if I can fit a JCW Gearknob for him! The car should be getting the minor work...

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

I think I may need a E46 M3 before I become all sensible and buy a house but it's not conclusive yet. I took the Mini for a blast today and had a riot tbh. Come up against a standard R53 and blew it away which was a 'big grin' moment. It's up for strong money as I'm in no rush to sell it...

I'll take a look at the graph later and get back to you @Sir_Dave - I want to say 184.2 or 185.2 lol. Thomas did the Fly calculation/estimate. I kind of regret not getting it on the rollers pre-pulley as it felt quite strong as standard. @Brookie. Yes! It might be a mod next year. I also...

More powerzz day and service @ 1320 MINI today. Being 170 bloody miles away meant a 6.30am start today. I haven't managed to drive the car a considerable distance since I bought it so It was a good test for car (And my comfortableness?). Anyway, arrived just before 10 (Thanks M25) Thomas...

The proper clips at BMW are nearly a tenner.. I ended up snapping quite a few so just used some locking nuts and washer that cost a quid, so far, so good. Lol how come it's managed to fall off?

You wont go too far wrong with this guide: http://www.motoringfile.com/howto/MINI_aero_grill_install.pdf Once you get the old grille off, your kind of know what to do  @Brookie. Can advise you on Northern specialists

From what brief research suggests, 17% requires an uprated intercooler and pushes the power higher up the rev range where as the 15% is a good all-rounder that doesn't require an intercooler upgrade due to heat. 😂 weeeeeeeeeeeeee

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

Gave the car a quick clean up today after a weekend of fun. Being the 1st time I've actually cleaned it, it's come up better than I thought it would! - Result! Starting to really enjoy the car, took a little while to get used to the heavier steering and man-ly gear change consider everything...

    AMG to ///M

Once worn in (Its quite stiff to begin with, ie gear change, handbrake lever etc).. Considering what it is, its not too bad. I've done 5k in 2 months, the stop start can be irritating, so that occasionally gets turned/punched off. If your choose the wrong gear / slow down in 6th to say, 30mph...

    Megane 225 Progress Thread

I was liking it until the bonnet and wing mirror wraps, wind deflectors and heavily tinted windows. It looks a little Bradford to me but I can appreciate the work that's gone into it.

    My Seat Leon Cupra R

I quite enjoyed mine for a daily/runabout. I wouldn't say it was boring but It didn't really feel like a sporty hatch, went alright in a straight line though lol.

So got a couple bits and bobs done over the weekend / this morning; Cleaned and fitted the Orranje Stealth Airbox - That included hole-cutting an 8cm circle into the bulkhead for the additional feed. Yes, the bay needs a good cleaning!! Today, the car was booked in for the 'One-Ball' Mod...

Lower the steering wheel, Remove the lower steering column plastics and you should be able to see and access the bearing (If using anything else rather than an aerosol tin, you may struggle to get in contact with the bearing without removing the steering wheel).

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

Couple of little bits to post in here. Aero Grilles are now in/on, I really hate doing the bottom one.. 3 days after I bought the car, the steering started to 'Creak' at low speeds with left to right input.. So a brief bit of researched suggested it may be a dry bearing situated on the...
