I know and there was a red one outside the concours which i have put a picture up of as well..
I spent the whole day drooling at the quality of the machinery!
Managed to fit the new rear lights this afternoon which only took about 30 mins!
They are the same style of the lci facelift lights although the bootlid lights are a slightly different shape.
Quite impressed with them for the price I paid and I think it really freshens up the back of the...
Yeah it couldn't have been much better Imo. The range of cars and condition of them was unbelievable. I've only put up a fraction of them.
Yeah I quite liked the project 7 f type but it wasn't in the same league as the new lightweight racing e-type beside it IMO. I can't believe how much...
Also ordered led numberplate bulbs to replace the old yellow halogens. Not bad for £2!
Bought a set of replacement side indicator covers as the originals were brittle and yellow..

After
A bit of an update on this...
I've bought a private plate to hide the age of the car and I've also ordered these which I like and they modernise the rear end of the car to make it look like the lci facelift... (Only 150 quid for them too...)
Thats all I can be bothered uploading at the moment.
The pictures I've put up are a fraction of the total I took on the day and a fraction of the cars there!
I'll put up some more later...
Cheers
Yeah I think thats my favourite colour scheme on it... White exterior and wheels with white leather interior...
Total 80's!
The only thing i couldn't believe was the size of the front wheels! They were only 15's!! How supercars have changed...
Still one of my favourite cars of all time though
Yeah probably one of the best car day outs i've been to... Some stunning machinery and you could talk to the owners who were really friendly.
Also got to sit in the new mclaren 570s... I prefer it in looks and proportion to the 650s.
And probably my personal favourite of the day. I had a poster of this exact car and colour scheme on my bedroom wall when I was 5 years old!
Stunning imo....
Went to this Concours event in Edinburgh and was really impressed with the standard of the cars and the organisation of the event.
Prince Michael was there and he had a look at some of the cars before he left with his protection officers.
There were 60 cars in the concours event and loads more...
Received new angel eye bulbs after waiting nearly a week for them. (Supposed to be next day delivery) Didn't come with instructions but it did come with all the tools needed to remove the arch liners and the bulbs.
Didn't start very well when I took them out of the box. Found that the bulbs...
Yeah he just went onto the dvla website and used his card to tax the car for me for 6 months.
The car is going in on Thursday to get an airbag light sorted on the dash. It's supposedly the airbag module under the passenger seat that's faulty. £700 new from BMW! To be fair to the dealer he's...
Too many snooty ppl on here. Its a cheap car to have a laugh with. Nothing wrong with that.
Why are you looking to sell your MR2 Joey? I thought you said it was much better than an Mx5?
What model of 5 did you have? Was it garaged?
My dad has the mk3 and that also has issues with rust in the boot area even though its a garage queen!
Shocking rust protection!
I've just got a mk1 1.8is and im loving it. Doesnt really bother me about the lack of power. Its still quite quick and its fun to drive as you are sitting on the floor.
I must be the tallest mx5 owner on here and I can still drive it! (6ft6 lol)
