Holyrood Concours September 2015

  BMW 330d :)
Went to this Concours event in Edinburgh and was really impressed with the standard of the cars and the organisation of the event.

Prince Michael was there and he had a look at some of the cars before he left with his protection officers.

There were 60 cars in the concours event and loads more on display.

Including two Ferrari 250 GTO's!

Here are just some of the 200+ pics I took of the day. The weather was brilliant all day which helped!

Sorry about the quality of some of the pictures, I was using my phone...

Comments welcome.

And probably my personal favourite of the day. I had a poster of this exact car and colour scheme on my bedroom wall when I was 5 years old!

Stunning imo....

Yeah probably one of the best car day outs i've been to... Some stunning machinery and you could talk to the owners who were really friendly.

Also got to sit in the new mclaren 570s... I prefer it in looks and proportion to the 650s.

Totally agree, that countach is gorgeous.

Yeah I think thats my favourite colour scheme on it... White exterior and wheels with white leather interior...

Total 80's!

The only thing i couldn't believe was the size of the front wheels! They were only 15's!! How supercars have changed...

Still one of my favourite cars of all time though

Thats all I can be bothered uploading at the moment.
The pictures I've put up are a fraction of the total I took on the day and a fraction of the cars there!

I'll put up some more later...

Cheers

Some fantastically expensive motors there! I see the Jag prototype from Harry's Garage is there too...

I also noticed the denim shirts and golf caps were in full effect!

Looks like a cracking day.
Yeah it couldn't have been much better Imo. The range of cars and condition of them was unbelievable. I've only put up a fraction of them.

Yeah I quite liked the project 7 f type but it wasn't in the same league as the new lightweight racing e-type beside it IMO. I can't believe how much heavier the f type was compared to the e type. Too heavy!

And I felt like a total scruff with some of the outfits that people were wearing. But there were some interesting outfits too!

Hope you like the pics

There's some seriously cool stuff there, damn!!

I love the Ecosse Jaguar's & the transporter, they are all awesome!

I remember seeing the green 250 GTO a motorsohw about 20 years ago up for 'only' £2.8M - it seems a snip now as it sold for $35M the other year.

I know and there was a red one outside the concours which i have put a picture up of as well..

I spent the whole day drooling at the quality of the machinery!
