Picked up an AOC 27" 1440P monitor in one of Overclockers daily deals last week. Fantastic monitor, BF4 looks absolutely beautiful at that res on Ultra!

No no. I buy films to watch on my tablet as I travel. The chrome cast means I can watch them easily on the TV haha.

Really do need a budget for this though. What is the Max you can spend?

Bought one. Buy films through Google a decent amount due to train journey's to work each day. This means I can easily pop them onto the TV! Might never buy a Blu-Ray again. As long as somewhere has decent wi-fi. Easy to transport as well!

^^ Have you mounted the PSU differently? Laying the 540 down like that will cover the PSU intake I think. Not a major issue really just something to keep in mind.

Oooooooof they are a really good deal. That is very tempting! The only thing that bothers me is the possibility of faults/returns.

On the PC you can unlock the various new weapons/gadgets. But the maps won't be released until the DLC is. Which I have heard is meant to be 18th March for Premium for PC. Still not too sure though.

I need to game at 1440P. I just can never decide on what monitor to get! I change my mind every week.

BF4 PC Premium here. We have been able to unlock the Naval Strike kit for the last week or so. Unlocked the Assault Rifle, LMG and AA Mine so far.

I only played Metro to unlock the F2000. Not going to play it again if I can at all help it. Pointless spam fest, that for me is not what BF is about. Conquest Large all the way! Although really looking forward to the "Titan Mode" in Naval Strike.

I replaced all my stock 540 fans and H100i fans with Alpenfohn items. The only noise from my PC comes from my 7990 coil whine in gaming and a faint hum from the rest of the rig. Fans are barely audible.

There are so many things they could do to assist flyers. At the moment only the Littlebird is effective at doing anything air to ground. The attack chopper is a flying barge and just gets pelted by the MAA/Stingers/Stealth Jet etc. ECM/Flares feel absolutely useless and getting hit by a missile...

^^ I swear battlepacks give you attachments for guns you never use. My Type 88 LMG is fully tricked out but I have never used the darn thing!

Mantle is going to be interesting if they can get it to work properly. I thought about trying the beta 14.1 then saw it doesn't support the 7990 yet or Crossfire, so steering well clear until the WHQL version. I am not expecting to see massive differences on a relatively high end set-up. What...

Currently toying with the idea of selling my 7990 and going 2x 290 after seeing the prices of 7990's on the bay I could make a tidy profit and it would be a cheap upgrade to the 290's.....then again it is still a monstrous card and I have no real need to sell. Decisions decisions....!

Might be worth having a little look into Mantle for AMD and Gsync for Nvidia. See if you may benefit from these up-and-coming features, it may influence your decision.

Go Intel, get the Gigabyte Z87-OC for barely £10 more than the board you have specced (Highly recommended, plus I use it) and get an i74770K for the extra £70. Job done!

Never got around to playing Desert Combat as much compared to 1942! O can you!? I know what I will be looking up when I get home :)
