El Alamein was fantastic fun! Definitely the faster you went the less ammo you picked up. Something that would be an interesting implementation now I do think.
I remember being a tail gunner in the bomber. That was great.
I think I will stick to just Crossfire/SLI'ing 2 cards max. End up waiting on the new dual 290 GPU to replace the 7990 now!
Then why do you have 3x 780Ti's....because you can :D
Scutch your VCore was way too low for 4.8Ghz on a Haswell processor there. It would struggle to be stable at 4.3Ghz as you are finding out.
To give you a reference I am running an i74770K @ 4.4Ghz stable with a VCore of 1.275 at the moment. Depending on if you have a good chip or not the amount...
Just had a really weird error from my mobo. I ran Windows Hardware Tester to check the ratings etc.
Then on restarting the PC it wouldn't go past the BIOS without me loading optimised defaults due to hardware changes (which there weren't any).
I did this, reset and re-entered all my O/C BIOS...
That is the one. On some maps the vegetation and grass all disappear leaving it all one colour. People running across stand out like a sore thumb. Until the next patch I might stop playing!
Well it is to do with the texture flickering. Before the patch everything was beautiful on Ultra.
After patch I have textures missing (Hainan Resort) and Paracel Storm is an epileptic nightmare, flickering all over the shop. Running a 7990 it is playable on some maps but others are horrid...
Please excuse the waff photos, I had to use the flash to be able to capture the contents!
You can make out where the H100i goes and fits nice and snugly up at the top.
Any case that has space for a 240mm Rad will fit a H100i I think.
But the case I have is the Corsair Carbide 540. Really is a fantastic case with great airflow.
If you want I will try and get a photo of how it looks?
^^ Haha.
It is a waff starting weapon but the Carbines are much better.
To be a pilot in BF4 is to curse everything that has an AA capability (which is pretty much anything). Also learning to swear at your ECM as missiles still pinging you while it is active and the stupid critical damage...
Re: I decided not to fix a split brake pipe and am blaming the car for trying to kill
Satchel award to MarcR.
To be honest I am glad its not a RIP thread. So don't be a wally again :)
Not sure what servers you play on but sometimes trying to keep a little bird in the air for longer than 30 seconds is a monumental achievement ;). With railgun AA and every farmer and their mothers packing a SAM of some sort its hard to do anything. Although if you have 2 mates on perma repair...
^^
A vote for the Corsair H100i. Has been a great cooler for my CPU so far under all my testing. I did replace the stock fans though with some Alpenfohn beauties mind :)
There is still a long way to go with BF4 balance. With some tweaks the game will work out, but it does seem that there is an obscene amount of engineers rocking about.
But so many issues can be sorted by giving us some really good maps to play in. Some of the base maps are pretty.......awful...
I have only played about an hour or so of BF4 but I did hear some whine. But with my headphones on I do not notice it at all.
I disabled ULUPS in MSI Afterburner, which helps GPU2 to work properly, but it is currently at stock apart from that. On Overclockers there is a chap who has made a...
Haha that makes me think of this "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeroy" Overclocking!
The real frustrating thing is having to be at work, when I want to be at home tinkering and getting everything set up so I can smash up BF4. I still have to flash my 7990 for optimum performance. On all my...
The stupid thing is I had a lovely stable 4.2 overclock at 1.25! I just wanted to push it a bit more, considering the H100i and great air flow of the Carbide 540R it should be able to take it.
This is my first time overclocking and finding it quite fun, but I need to know when to stop. Stress...
Unfortunately it seems to be the way with my processor. It is not stable at 4.4 with out 1.3V. I had to tweak my Ring Voltage to 1.2 and VRIN Override to 2V to get a general stable platform. So far I have only done about 15 minutes of AIDA testing but the temps are well within the acceptable...
