yeah, fitting a pipercross airfilter kit to my AX GT many many years ago. The kit comprised a drill bit to widen one of the jets on the twin carb. Ended up having to replace the bloody carb in the end after numerous rolling road trips - I completely fcked the thing up!

I know where you are coming from as I used to debate whether or not to remove them, but having had the car seven years I don't really think about them anymore! The car came with them, all be it my choice, so they are staying!

yup but have only covered 17k from new and switched fronts for backs on 10k I think

As said above nowt wrong with the 182 cups. I've had mine nearly 7 years and still love it. Rather have mine than a non-cupped full fat. Granted seats arent as nice, but then I didnt buy mine for the seats. Plenty out there, be patient and hang on for a decent one with good service history and...

Cars are a complete lottery, as mentioned above all depends on how they've been treated (serviced, driven, number of owners, whether been in a crash). Don't rush to buy, take your time and pick the right one.

When i bought mine 6 years ago (time flies!) I wanted a 182 with the cup packs as that was what mattered to me (the engine and the handling). The day I went to the dealer was the day they brought this model out so it was perfect timing for me as got the car I wanted and saved some dosh as well...

I still love my RB cup and have had it from new. Best colour as well. Enjoy!

Get yourself on detailingworld mate. Mine gets washed when i can be arsed which aint often but luckily keep it garaged and plenty of wax on it

I would walk away having read that list of faults. As said above plenty of other nice examples out there, just need to be patient.

had the 182 for 5.5yrs now from new and no plans to get rid. just need to use it a bit more really

My 182 has just turned 5 and is only on 15k and still like new so pretty sure the belts are fine but dont want to risk it so trip to birchdown on the cards soon - renault wanted something ridiculous when i asked them a couple of years ago £900 i think
