Help needed for a problem i cant locate.
clio 1.4 2003. When started with a cold engine in this weather it ticks over at 600rpm'ish with a shocking misfire. Will occassionally fail to keep itself running and stall, at which point will require a good 20 seconds of cranking before it fires back...
It would sound epic with no cats and im sure you could spit a flame or two. However i wouldnt bother as people say, even removing the main cat has it troubles.
I used a very similar looking kit on my old 1.4 ( which k-tec sell, simota i believe ) and it was the worst piece of crap i've ever bought.
Terrible quality, poor fitment and the car was much slower for it. IMO dont bother. Plus fake carbon fibre looks poo lol.
Not much avaliable for the 197 off the shelf 2b honest mate. But from what i know...

Take the LED lights out?

PS fluid is very usually red. However most Clios have electric steering, not sure if your cars too early for that or not though...
Does anybody know where i can find colder rated spark plugs for the 197 engine?
For reasons i cant say i need colder plugs to help run a modification. Looked on all the main sites for hours ( NGK, Bosch etc. ) with no success.
Surely all the turbo 172 boy must have to run colder plugs...
I use the uprated engine mounts from k-tec in the 1.4 clio and at first the vibration is unbearable for a few miles. But they soon wear in and are very good now, no extra vibration over OEM and no engine movement either!
