Have the k-tec uprated ones fitted to the 1.4 Clio.
Omg at first they were shaking the car to dust but once settled in they are just as civilised at OEM spec.
Seemed to have stood the test of time too, plus they look better :p
Take the ABS fuse out lol, that'll get rid of the interruptions.
Just keep an eye on the rear end, in my experience they'll lock up before the fronts if you try this crazy trick.
My mate got flashed for the same thing a few months back, the light was red for a good 6 seconds but he wasnt paying attention.
Nothing ever came of it though, so theres hope for you yet.

In my experience you shouldnt concentrate so much on the power gains but more on the improved drivability. It totally transforms the powerband.

I dont know what they are like on the 182s but the 197 isnt that noisy ( even with my decat its still acceptable. ) And by no means is it chavvy sounding. Many ppl say its raspy and sounds very jap about mine.
Prepare for the flatspot with any aftermarket system...
Is this the little orange engine shaped light? I.E emissions warning light?
If so fault code reader does turn it off but if the problem is still present it will just come back on.
