Yes a i have genuine seal kit they are for illustration purposes only, and have you got any tips for sealing the rocker cover, i have the proper gasket jollop, but any technique i should no about?
Hi i was wondering if any one could shed some light on the exact fitting of the cam seals, this is 3rd time lucky hopefully as they keep leaking,:mad:
i realise that the ends of the cams still nead cleaning as thease pics are the old seals but i cant see how else they would fit as i no the way...
No it wont turn over if its sticky, but when you hit it it should free it up, but make sure you dont just hit the heat shield, i had the same prob with mine, i used the towing eye as it fits down the back of the engine bit easier than a hamer,
well as im going to have the hole thing in bits. Can anybody recomend a set of cams that would be worth getting?? and is there any after market pulley's worth getting?? i want to try get a bit more hp but dont want boost, want to keep it NA,

So its been a long time coming,2 years to be precise. So i started taking it to bits to fined out where the oil leak was coming from, it turns out to be from rocker cover/cam seal, so time to do the cam belt again, 3rd time now. but this time will be getting rid of air con when i put it back...

Hi there, i had the same/similar prob with my Ph1, it turned out to be a sticky starter moter, it takes some getting to but i used the towing eye just to give it a good tap and this cured the prob, it does have a heat shield covering it but it just pulls off, try it next time it wont start and...
