Tried it 'coasting' and noise still present if that helps? To me it definately sounds constant. Checked CV boots and they all appear undamaged.
Cheers.
I have a suspicion that one of my bearings is shot due to:
a) constant noise whilst driving (faint whisling / humming)
b) car seems to almost 'wander' and feel 'loose'
c) strange noise when turning at slow speeds
Do all these symptoms sound like a front bearing?
Car has only done...
I have exactly same issue - what was wrong in the end? Mine squeaks and have the same problem when turning at slow speeds, feels like a wheel is about to drop off!
Some problem my end and had it on my old 172, hoping its not the Sachs dampers on there way out! Do you get a constant whirring / humming noise at all speeds?
Owned a 172 and now a Trophy and now think I have same problem as I had before - rear bearing whine / hum. Are these made of paper or just have an incredibly small life?!
I did have a discount code for that and yes they were 205's. Also doing a £40 free petrol voucher if you buy 4 Michelin tyres!!
Tyres no longer on their website!?
............as now have a Trophy - are there any simple upgrades to improve the 'standard' lights? Whether this be kits or simply bulbs.
Really just want something that lights the road better at night.
Thanks
