    Show me YOUR tailpipes 172.

Re: Show me ur tailpipes 172. Not keen on the twins, like the yozza race, any 'stealth' style or what paul has done.

    Suprised no'one has seen this....

See this all the time, it's over the tops on the way to keighley from mine. He had one at the side of the road for a while but then moved it behind a wall so you can just see it peeking over, think it was different to this one though. He was in the local paper the other year about his plane...

    powerflex dog bone mount..

Half an hour maybe? Hardest part was getting the mount off, had to use a big bar on the gearbox end.

    powerflex dog bone mount..

Did mine last weekend. Very easy to do, and yes its worth it. Gear change is so slick now, and unlike some I haven't suffered any bad vibrations.

    Windows Vista forgetting wireless network.

I'll have a look next time i go, cheers. It is so much easier on a mac, or even windows 7 to sort out any network problems. Vista is just a hassle.

    Windows Vista forgetting wireless network.

Its a laptop with built in wireless, only software to use is the windows stuff. Where is the auto option. I have selected to remember the network, and to autoconnect even if it isn't broadcasting its SSID. I have removed all wifi security before I left, and he has sent me an email this...

    Adrian Flux any good?

Well you shouldn't, but seeing as there is an admin fee if you add them later you might aswell do. Aslong as it has some mods then it qualifies for the modified policy iirc.

    Adrian Flux any good?

They send you a form to fill in. You just list the mods and who fit them under the required categories.

    Adrian Flux any good?

When they had received all the documents from me they sent me a letter confirming they had received everything required and the policy was in place for the full term. If anyone hasn't got this i'd suggest ringing them up. Also worth checking here too: http://ownvehicle.askmid.com/

    Windows Vista forgetting wireless network.

Just set up my Grandads BB this morning and it all works fine. If I restart the computer it connects fine, but if I shut it down, wait an hour, then start it again it doesn't auto connect to the router, and I have to manually do it. Any advice?

    Is this any good ?

Where's nick when you need him, he was under his car at trax on just the renault jack lol. Imo its worth splashing out for a decent jack. Its with you for life pretty much then, aslong as you look after it. I've had cheap jacks, and i thought they were adequate until i bought the arcan one. Now...

Help with a 197 steering wheel to fit my 172

Its a straight swap as far as fit goes. The auto correction thing sorts itself out after a while, what ever is stopping it wears away after a few weeks of use. The airbag wires dont need modifying to fit the new airbag, whether the airbag will work, no one can confidently say so. Cruise wires...

K-Tec Coilovers + Eibach Camber bolts

Can eibach camber bolts be used with k-tec coilovers? I have read due to the way the coilovers have been modified to fit 182 cup bolt spacing you cant use camber bolts? Just wanting to know so i dont waste the garages time (and my money!) on Monday. Cheers Mike

    Why 15" wheels?

Cheaper tyres, better handling and my overly soft suspension doesn't cause the tyres to rub on the bumper bracket when pushing it.

    182 ff + 2118's

Getting really confused here. Which offset would be correct fitment for a 182 between et38 and et 43? I have been told 38, but a search on here comes up with mixed views :S

Lots of squeeking from new Pads. Newbee Help!

Mine squeak like a b**ch, gray said i didn't bed them in properly :( A day on track keeps them quiet for a few months though, so i think its just because they are rarely getting enough heat in them.

    Maplin airbag resistor help please

Yep. Not as clear as to where they go under the seat but The Boosh! has done a great guide in the guide's section.

    Maplin airbag resistor help please

The one you link to is 3.3k ohm, thats 3300 ohms. You want around 3.9 ohms. Just go to the geek counter at the back and ask for some 3.9 ohm resistors, get them to test them too to make sure they are the correct resistance because they always get them mixed up, they'll have a multimetre behind...
