    Cost difference is £1200 really but when you consider you get a belt change which is what, 500+ at most places, included, add that to what it would cost on a low boost and your talking 600 or so difference for a full rebuild, more power and a decent clutch.

    Stage 2 seems far better value than low boost when you consider you get all the belts done, a full rebuild and 40 bhp extra, for what a extra, 600 odd quid effectively. Someone said on here it was the least reliable though. Can anyone confirm this? Stage 3 OK for track use - for a road car...

    No idea mate but I'm in same boat and it can't be coincidence. Mines been fine for over 10 years then suddenly it's needed 3 injectors in a year. Dirt in system, fuel filter, fuelling, lambda ?

    Where does a charged Clio fit into the turbo stages? 250bhp charged similar to 280 stage 2 turbo?

    I had repeated reliability issues after simply getting a cam conversion plus other bits and bobs by the top tuner of the day years ago. If you don't get initial problems after modding a car I would say you are very lucky. What counts is further down the line when talking about reliability.

    Try and buy from someone who's owned the car for a while. Those who are selling after owning after only a couple of months with the usual excuses written in the ad rings alarm bells. Also when you clock a car you like, worth visiting that MOT guv check site thing to show previous MOT failings

    Been in the same boat. Emailed although got a couple of replies. Tried to book the car in then correspondence dried up. Emailed him 3 more times but never got a response. He might be s**t hot with the spanners but the basic office side is just s**t.

    I had an random annoying rattle develop once. Turned out to be the heatshield vibrating against the anti roll bar. Will have know doubt disturbed something when fitting your exhaust
