I have not known anyone to ever declare options. If it left the factory in that state then its standard.
How many people on here with 182's declare their cup packs? ermmm none.
Because there is no point. Just find the registration of a 200 off autotrader or something, and get an online quote...
@ tom46 i was also parked behind you at sainsburys petrol the other day, monday? whilst putting fuel in.
mine's faded now dargs.... washing it is too much effort tbh.
Yeah i've known of a few jc5 boxes to go, not uncommon unfortunatly. Two lads at work have both had their jc5's go. One in a 172cup and one in a 1.5dci. The one in the cup put a hole in the side of the box and the dci one has spat the diff circlip off twice.
So luck of the draw really. Where...
s/c'd 172 would kill it tbf!
As said as above Vee's weren't built for speed..... but Vee's won't "Destroy" standard 1*2's they have an edge but wouldn't say its a great deal tbh
fitted my cat back on tonight as its just a bit too loud for me for everyday use with the decat. But with the decat on sounds spot on! Not to loud just about right!
Yozza and cat ftw for everyday use!
For a track day or fun fast driving, spend 10mins and stick the decat on for fun fun fun!!!
Fitted mine today and good god is it loud with a decat, think i might have to stick the cat back on and compare it! Quality system though, fits well and the welds are actually beautiful!
id be tempted to say that its a hydraulic lifter thats not seated properly, i know people that have knocked them when putting the rocker cover back on, and on start up sounds similar to that.
Why did you have new valves fitted out of interest?
it will be the heater resister that has failed, they are extemely common for it, the the wiring cant handle the power going through it and in turn burns out the connector and the resistor, causing it not to work at all, or sometime just on one speed. There is a modified wiring loom which is...
Thats quite possibly the worst place it could have been cut, way to close to the bend!
I'd personally sleeve it, but depends where you get the sleeve from some are good and some are awfull! Renault ones i find are brilliant, bit expensive but i rate them highly.
It will never happen, the reason being people will not want to pay main dealer prices for it... why take your cambelt to be done at a main dealer rs specialist, when you could go to birchdown and get it done at half the price?
Tbh there is no need for an rs specialist, especially where i work...
yeah its pretty difficult to steal most new cars, you have to have some serious knowledge to try and drive away without the keys. Especially on renaults with key cards, when i was on a training course they said that even renault couldnt steal one of their own cars without the keycard.
The...
Cheers for the comments guys.
No the graffiti is at the back of the train station by the stagecoach bus depot. Quite good for photos theres.
Edit*
As the for the decat, yeah it will have to be swapped over for Mot purposes. Easy job to do though!
:o
Picked up the 182 a few weeks back now. So thought id post up a few pics.
Fitted a ktec panel filter and decat on tuesday now trying to decide what system to go for. Think it will either be a ktec or scorpion system.
But heres a few pics, want to pick up some sportlines soon too.
if your finding yourself, spending alot of money on parts and getting nothing from it why not bite the bullet and take it to renault to have it diagnosed. we charge 83.95 and if you have the work done with us you don't pay the diag charge just the part and labour cost.
worth a shot instead of...
yep fuel pressure reg's are a common fault....
ide's are awful engines tbh! best to steer well clear. Try get it on a diagnostics machine though. Sometimes they suffer with egr faults too.
we charge £83.95 Stealers FTW!
but outside of work i charge £25 an hour
or £35 plus parts for a minor service
£50 for a major plus parts
and £100-£150 on cambelts exc renault sports

Hi all im going to be buying a 200 in the next few weeks and just wandering what people have paid?
I have seen similar thread but just wandering if people fancied going into more detail. I think it would be usefull for most people so they can see what the average price is.
