id try reinitialising the throttle body, turn ign on for 30secs then off for 30secs then start up. usually work on other models after fitting a throttle body, worth a try. check to see if uve disconnected any vac pipes etc?
ive got a 1.2 clio throttle body for sale on ebay, if u want to have a look
easy to change aswell mate aslong as u have a 10mm socket and ratchet!
edit: just read your post again sound exactly like my aunties old clio 1.2 everytime it got slightly warm it would idle so she always had to keep...
yeah common fault, one way valve in washer pump just dies, usually fronts stop working all toghether and when u pull the front washer stalk it operates the rear! but most probs is the washer pump
lift up the handle on the back of the seat and see if there is a cable attatched to it? if there is check on the bottom of the seat by the runners and follow the cable and it wil have probs come off at the other end. usually comes off the top though
1)the shaking is a misfire obviously
to be honest you could try a coilpack then spark plugs, if not probs an injector, if your not good with the spanners and cant really try diagnose it yourself swapping bits round etc i would recomend take it to a garage!
Although tdc sensors failing on 1.2 16v clios are common
your fault is probably due to the wiring loom rubbed through on the security box at the back, in which case thats a good few hundred quid for the loom!
and if you say youve cleaned the throttle body the next step would be a map sensor...
hi there, your problem is a poor earth to the rear lights common problem on all clio 2's, if u remove both rear lights and check on all bulbs for corrosion on the bulbls themselves, or the earthing points from the lights.
i dont understand how this is something thats happened from bringing it...
remove steering wheel cowling 3 t20's, then get a straight picks or small screwdrivers and using a torch u should be able to see where is slots in and just give it a poke and it should come free!
