I use AS Duet for shampoo and a mix of Duet and AS Hazsafe as a foam. The combo works really well and doesn't strip LSP.

I've never had a problem with RainX on my side and rear windows. Put it on with a bit of kitchen roll, leave it for 10-15 mins then biff off with a micro fiber. Lasts about 6 months with regular cleaning with megs glass cleaner concentrate or my new found love, Autosmart 20:20.

I was looking at these today. What's the difference between the 7 and 8 Series screens? Apart from price and a metal bezel.

I made the mistake of power the engine bay of one of my old clios. As said, a wet plug is a dead plug.... x4. It's ok to do, just keep the water away from the top of the engine. I now use an adjustable attachment on the end of a hose and lightly spray agitated G101 off the bay on all my cars now.
