The noise is so so tempting i agree Jon. I'm thinking RS1, respray white, black turini's, PH2 rear and lights, buckets and ITB's which should make for one awesome car.
Mine isn't 200BHP as i have stripped the rear and saved some weight then you take into account of fuel, weight of driver etc. But i'd expect mine to be mid 190's yes.
I'm still undecided what to do in terms of tuning when i return to the UK.
Oh plus before mods i couldn't get anywhere near...
I haven't Jack, no, but i'm planning on very soon and i've had many a drag race with the friend with a RR'd clio with 202BHP and he can't pull more than 1 car length ahead to 100MPH. And i trust Olivier's word as he himself has a 225BHP clio and he said mine felt extremely quick for what it's...
No way you've saved 200kg from just taking the seats, spare and the flimsy plastic. I had all mine out in a 182 and it only came to 28KG without the spare.
It does an extremely small power gain considering the match alone is 'supposed' to be good for at least 4-5 and has been known to add 10 or so. Disappointed your Group N only added so little aswell. Maybe they react differently on different cars? I say that because my car really does feel...
There's quite a bit of info on the K-Tec website. They reckon it does 0-60 in under 5 secs...pretty tasty if it can manage it. Don't see any reason why it should go boom if properly looked after. Although the gearbox might struggle with that much power.
Usually change bang on 7k or around there,it's handy having an extra 800RPM before the limiter sometimes though.
I tend to launch at 2,500RPM and then just boot it really, takes practice though as you said.
I have a decat on my 182 on a standard system and TBH can't really tell the difference except noise and a little better throttle response. What really spiced things up was the Group N ECU.
