I love mine but it isn't mint. Not including modifying it, it will need a decent wedge to get it mint. However it does have lowish miles and is in decent condition for a 13yr old car.
So you settled on 20mm fronts then? Looks cool in pic 7 for some reason :)
Also I've got ph2 interior door handles if you want them? I took them off mine as I wanted the originals on.
Keep us updated buddy. I used a powerflex one recently but I think I'm going to do this trick again just for double strength. Infact I think I have some spare in my tool box.
Any PU sealant will be better than nothing tbh Guy. Once it's dried it will sag less/have no sag as they'll be no gap...
@guysy Guy, I did what you asked in the OP. There is a paint shop in Harlow called Leonard Brooks (next to the dairy crest/nhs walk-in center) and they sell tiger seal and a cheaper equivalent. It's under £10 and I did what your on about in the OP on my old 182. Worked fine and held for ages.
Lol. I will have a look at the manifold first mate. Looked last night and there £100+ for both of the vibratech mounts :(
I have decided to remove the whiteline ARB too. I don't drive it hard enough to warrant it on the car and would be better for the more hardcore person! So that and the Ktec...
Wow! What a complete roller coaster. I've been reading this all over the Xmas period, a few pages at a time. I knew this car on the forum but never took the time to read it.
Infact I had the pic of it with the bonnet off on the IK tests as my screensaver. Loved that look and when it was on the...

@Bobby. is a good lad!
No worries buddy. Yeah the noise was doing it slightly before but not as bad, the same with the movement. It's gotten worse over the last few weeks, but luckily I've been using Emily's car. I drove it today into Harlow and it was doing it then :(
I shall have a look mate when I jack the car up...
Got these turn up today:
ICV - Airbox pipe and coolant bottle lid by Dr-Jekyll, on Flickr
I can now fit my original airbox and remove the Ktec induction kit. I can also put an original lid on my new coolant bottle :)
More good news is that the underlay has stopped a huge amount of vibrations...
I'll give her Emily's number ;)
As mentioned in your engine bay thread, silver looks great. You've convinced me to do the same to this one :) OEM+ is the way forward.
I've also reconsidered a nut and bolt kit as it means I will have to locktight them into the spacers. This isn't a real problem as such but I wanted to keep the spacers as they come. I can't help but look at the TPI polarised ones. I had these before on my 182 but they had gone a bit manky...
Forgot to add that I shall be fitting my original airbox now that it's all complete. I was missing the pipe that goes from the 90 degree bend to the ICV but Coops Turbo had one so I've got that and a coolant bottle lid to replace my cheapo one. As awesome as the Ktec induction kit sounds, I...
