Lol dont b jealous kevo, you've got the torque where i've got the bhp. You not seen my dyno graph? the torque curve is flatter than an ironing board after 3000rpm!

Halfords plugs will do, try to go for NGK over Bosch though. Used em b4 and never had problems.

Im not sure of mark2 Clios but they should just pop in on plastic clips. If you push the old ones from underneath and push the clips in, might just pop out. Try getting a pin in the jets b4 u replace anything though, sometimes unblocks it.

Understood, im running decat which i've been told doesnt help torque. Reckon its worth whacking a sports cat on? Also running standard airbox, is there any advantage to a certain induction kit you could recommend. I managed 211.4bhp on std setup.

Can you get rid of the poxy emission controlling then? Is it safe to disable to safety restrictors?

I'm a little confused, so the rempas on there but the engines restricting itself to prevent damage? hence the power loss.

Sounds good, im going to try and get it dyno'd this week to confirm the remap has dissapeared, if as suspected it has then i'll get in touch to book my car in. Is it a case that other mappers wont know how to get around this or is there a possibility they would have done this for me?

Thanks for reply RSTuning. Remap was carried out by AmD Essex, although after the work was done the car run perfect it doesnt seem so nice anymore. What cures have you got for the 197? No problem with leaving it with you if it can be sorted, losing 17bhp atm from it :(

Its becoming quite apparent that the 197 cannot hold a remap and after a few hundred miles reverts itself back to standard, much like new bmws ( so im told ). My car was mapped with the cams and it feels slower than when the work was first done and my flat spot has re-emerged, so im assuming...

B16 how did you find the Apollo, did it actually have any impact on the performance? Will get it bolted on if it doesnt affect my bhp too much, luv the look of a good old K&N.

Theres a 197 bodykit on ebay atm from a salvaged RenaultSport. Why would you want to do this? Just buy a 197 :p

I use Silkolene Pro s 5w-40. Running 211bhp and tracked a few times, never let me down yet.

I luv the rocksolid feel in suspension, jus feels hardcore and purposeful.

Lengendary mods, reckon the clios could pull that off too :p
