UniPart have verified the receipt is a total fake, they took a few looks at it and wrote the codes into their system and said its not real, then the registration plate they require when they supply parts was not on their system at all, showing they have never supplied the parts for the car used...

Its a 55 plate, January 2006 with 34,000 miles. Looking at getting it serviced but how important is this? Money is very tight until after christmas!

Think i'm borrowing one off my girlfriends dad, is it okay to use just a cheap jack or do I need axle stands too? Planning to just put the wheels back on to let the brakes dry so they will be off for 30 mins at a time, jack doesn't seem too great quality but it lifted the car okay before. Thanks
