I think the problem is people see Big Power Single Turbos for similar or less money so they won't touch a standardish power twin.
They're easier to work on than a Clio. Besides, there's a big army of Rotary heads willing to help.

If he can afford the car and still save then why not? They're holding value too unlike similar cars.
Use Torque GT, that's who my mate got to import his. £10k is about right.
Look on SXOC and S15OC, there's plenty in the UK for sale already imported which will save money. A lot of importers don't want to touch 15s ATM as they don't make any money on them too. It's easy to get a good one...
