Well the engine mount is off anyway for the cambelt change so to get the pump off all u have to do is jack that side of the engine up till the pulley clears the chassis rail. Job done.
Or they rounded off those shite torx screws and thats why it took ages.maybe
If he sold it then well done him. But personally For that sort of money I would want a 20k miles or less and mint mint. Engine bay looks like s**t. Doesnt even have the plastic cover.
It " could be " an injector issue. To much fuel in the bore would wash the bore out and could get past the rings and into the sump if the rings are a bit worn. How many miles is ya engine on ?
If only the F4R were so easy to get those sorts of power from !

I dont think it is but better safe than sorrt. Cant do any harm. Its not like its gonna have to come off anytime soon once u have re fitted it.

Wow . I must off been luck with mine. The rear ones were so tight I needed a small scaffold bar on my braker bar. Bit of lock tight after sorts it all out
I used my local screwfix style place for some of them.
I did buy a few new bolts from renault like the sump bolts which are a crazy m5 torx head.
