Thanks for telling me what dampers do . Lol when u say cheap as chips my local main dealer want £120 for a pair. i can get a set of 1.4 rear dampers for £17 a pair on ebay Ben

Im lookin for a set of rear dampers for my 172 cup and wondered what the difference was between the other models ??? The ebay listing say sutable for the 1.2 1.4 1.6 16v etc and not suitable for the 2.0. Why is this ??? Do all the 172 and 182's run the same rear damper ??? Ben

I didnt think aftermarket brake bias kits would pass the mot. Ill have to make good of old one. Its a bit crappy but it will b fine

......rear brake compensator on my cup ? I know the cup models dont have the compensators connected to the rear beam but its still there. But is the unit its self set at a pre set level ???? . So just wondered if can i just by pass the box with a straight throught lines and would it change...

Sounds like its still running standard internals !!! as it says nothing about uprated internals with lowered C.R properbly with a de-comp plate = not the best If ya going to do it do it properly Not worth 5.5k IMO of course Ben

Right , last couple of days ive : Relocated my filter with new pipe Put on the new seal kits for both calipers Put both hubs and calipers back on. Put a wheel up against tom get a little pic of what its gonna be like when done Re-packed both CV joints bought some rear discs from EURO CAR PARTS...

What he said plus if u do drop it. Undo the pinch bolt that connects the column to ths rack other wise it will not drop and damage it

it took me sooooooooo long to rub down the wheels, even using a sander, which could not get between the spokes, so had to do that by hand

Managed to re-furb 2 of my wheels yesterday, not bad for a home effort and using cans its raining today so I think ill just pop into the office and put the hubs / suspention back on
