I sorted the same issue this week using a Meguiars headlight refurb kit. Basically a polishing compound and a wool polishing pad that you use with an electric drill. Worked very well and my headlights are like new again

Gave it a clean out and all is now working fine. Changed the blown bulb at the same time. Another job ticked off my 'to do' list :-)

My 182 cig lighter works fine, but neither of my plug in phone car chargers seem to get power when I pop them in. Is there some French quirkiness going on here with regards to the inside of the lighter socket?

Ok, a little update. No oil under the car. No oil evident in engine bay. No oil in expansion tank. No mayonnaise under oil filler cap. Will go and buy some oil shortly and update again...

Incidently, although I'll fill a bit, check dipstick, fill a bit more, check etc etc, how many litres do you reckon it'll swallow up?

Level was fine earlier today. Maybe there's a leak and it dropped all the oil over the course of my 3hr trip down the motorway. Doubt anyone would have noticed anything at the time. Further investigation tomorrow... Incidently, 5W40? (semi or full synth?)

Car on flat ground. Last run an hour ago. Didn't notice any smoke out the back earlier. Will fill to level tomorrow then I guess it's a trip to my tame mechanic. Very disappointed :-(
