Have to say the battery so far is pretty decent - lasting 1.5 days with constant messing around. I expect once I stop playing with it so much it could last 2 days. My S2 only lasted from 8am to about 8pm with less use so it's much better than that. I charge every night anyway so as long as it...
Mine arrives tomorrow - looking forward to playing it, although never seem to have much time for xbox these days. Damn real world taking up all my time!!!
Joe - trying to antagonise people about phone brand/models come over as rather sad my friend.
ALL the reports I've read on the new S4, HTC One, Google Nexus 4 and even SE Experia Z position them above the current iPhone so it just makes you look a bit silly too.
Ah don't say that, Dark Souls was too hard for me!!! heard the new Isle is very tricky though even with a maxed out character.
I think my favourite overall RPG of this gen is either Mass Effect or Dragon Age, with Skyrim then Fallout 3 behind. I doubt this will be as good as any of those but I...
Anyone played this game? Sounded quite cool - a mix between Dark Souls and Monster Hunter. Got some pretty good reviews and bit different to usual RPGs, with more focus on combat and open world exploration.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has any experience with it and how they got on?
I am thinking of getting one of these over the S4 now - not quite as good specs but all the features are more practical (e.g. I will actually use them rather than just showing off with them), case looks more premium and slightly better VFM too.
Yeah this is true - to be honest though I couldn't remember the Bioshock twist so the whole Bioshock/Infinite parallels in terms of story were missed on me until I was reminded, just the obvious similarities between Elizabeth/little sisters, Columbia/Rapture, Salts/Eve and Songbird/Big Daddies...
(I don't know how to do spoiler tags!) This article is even better at tying it together...

So I finished this last night and wow...the ending was like something out of a decent sci fi film, and left me thinking about what it all meant for a couple of hours afterwards.
Spoiler below for anyone else who has finished:
What do you think the significance of going to Rapture was? I...
I guess if it's something like FIFA or COD you know pretty much what you're getting as it's the same old same old each year - for a game like this though you've got no idea. And as Scutch said you can order it 2 days before launch and still get it on date of release.
I don't know why anyone would ever pre-order a game...surely wait for the reviews (which are usually out before the game is released anyway) and then decide?!
Transformers Revenge of the Fallen looked good in the previews...
I love the octopus one and upgraded to you can pull over 3 guys at a time. That in combo with a maxed out shotgun is awesome - can kill 3 guys with 1 shot. The return to sender one is good too when you upgrade to absorb enemy bullets.
Story is great too, it's been very unusual to be actually...
Nice idea but as several have said the gaming future probably lies in smaller devices which fit neatly into the living room rather than massive devices which keep gamers locked in their bedrooms. Companies want to make it more not less accessible sadly.
What a load of bull...he wasn't happy to accept a digital baptism, but would have been prepared presumably to commit hundreds of digital murders??? What a complete tool.
Well, got this the other day and have to say it's a brilliant game. I've only just met Elizabeth but the way the game starts and the level of detail in the world is amazing. The character design is also great and I'm intrigued how the story will develop.
Only weakness so far is you can't break...
Well said Toypop - thinking about it I got bored at this game having to kill the same enemies to get to the boss to try and kill it a million times. After 10 or so goes I knew how to kill all the enemies on the way to the boss without thinking about it, but it just became repetitive. I don't...
JJ - there's probably not going to be backwards compatibility for either console anyway, if it makes it any easier!
There was a good article on Metro's Gamecentral site today with the founder of Bioware who left the games industry last year after disillusionment - basically saying the market...
I can kind of understand why they are trying to ban used games as publishers don't get any revenue from them. Given the choice I would rather always buy new full games rather than half games with everything sold as extra DLC.
Although, of course, I can see publishers trying to do both...
The new Xbox probably won't have backwards compatibility - which is annoying but not a deal breaker for me.
Lots of people are put off the new Xbox as it is apparently going to need to be online all the time - but I think in 5 years time people will find it strange this was even an issue.
For...
Possibly mate - I'm on the ol' 360 though. Might see if there's a demo to try on there or something.
I like construction/creation games but not sure about this. Tropico 4 looked OK-ish otherwise, if a little limited in scope.
Anyone got it or played it? IT's basically Minecraft mixed with a SNES side scrolling RPG. Got some great reviews but not sue if it's for me...
Any opinions?
I think the bit before the end in ME3 is the most impactful, where you have a chat with all your crew members.
I've not played Citadel but everyone raves about that.
Overall though I think the trilogy as a whole is my best gaming experience ever - certainly ME1 was the first 360 game I played...
Not played this for a while - the banshees were really hard and they were the ones I concentrated on killing. Just keep away from them as much as possible but concentrate on them. I think I used some biotics to keep knocking them back and running around once they got close (keeping cover...
