Is this easy to install for non developers?

Ive had a constant knocking for ages and found some time to try sort it, ordered a poly bush for the 172 and just fitted. What a difference car feels as one again, got to recommend this to anyone. Followed the guide on here and you definitely need a vice! Happy days thanks Cliosport! ​Ryan

Will the engine not move if you take the mount off and only the front is in the air? Need to find the jack points then for a trolley jack...any one?

Should be receiving new powerflex bushes today, what is the easiest way to get to the mount? Jack one side of the car or just the front? I'm a jack amateur.......... Thanks Ryan

Been searching for a new dog bone mount for Phase 2 172, the only place I can find one is Renault £46 or to powerflex my original. Where have people purchased standard ones from? and do you need to support the engine whilst changing? ​Ryan

Ive currently got EBC Green Stuff front pads and they've been pretty good how do they compare to standard? anyone?

Don't think I can justify more than double the price than standard items, need to find out whats on there at the moment though as do not want to go back wards!

Apparently a knackard UCH the car was checked on a diagnostic machine and after a couple of hours they found the fault! At least I now have a bit more faith in the car and luckily I didn't get stranded anywhere!!

After 2 hour diagnostic at Renault they have told me the UCH is shot, £400 part & fitting booo.... I could buy the whole lot off ebay but to be fair I have two keys and need two keys so figured I could probably do it second hand for around£200 but how long would a second hand UCH last when all...

Well its going for a diagnostic, they have told me that they will not do any work until they know the cost and fault.......apparently

Ah ok cool, that sounds like a serious amount of effort, ill see what the damage is at Renault, should hopefully get it there today....
