can you not just put some hose piping in the filler cap and try drain as much out that way, although as above removing the seats sounds like a good idea! probably easier too, infact why not just take the tank, it can probably be sold to someone who needs it lol

I dont think so, I believe its just clipped in but you have to take the surround off from the inside then unclip it from there

Take it off, makes it much easier to work with, you can probably lay the wrap flat then lay the badge on top, just prise the front off carefully from underneath with a flat head screwdriver, the back I believe the badge surround needs to come off
