Simulation settings are good but losing 15-20mph top speed on a Speedway circuit after a minor collision on lap 1 makes the remainder of the race a waste of time as I lose so much time to the car in 1st place that I never get to finish the race anyway.
I don't think GT5 has had a patch to allow...
Had fun on Live last night, first time I've played Forza 3 for a long time and only the second time I've played online. Felt a bit odd using a pad having spent the last month playing GT5 using a wheel but I got used to it.

I played Forza 3 for the first time since buying GT5 and found myself disappointed with the graphics, in comparison to GT5 they are over colourful and arcade looking. I was playing with a pad and the car handling physics were not as good as GT5 with a wheel but this is probably a unfair...
Finally had a chance to setup the Xbox and transfer all my data from the old model. Configured Kinect and played Bowling, Boxing and Track & Field. Knackered now so going to bed :)
I've upgraded my 360 Super Elite to a 360 S with Kinect and Sports today. Also bought Forza 3 Ultimate edition in the sales so that I can get all the add-on packs that are included with it.
It'll take me forever to get that!! I need to start entering events that actually make me money. Races last night were earning me only 10k for a win at best.

Ah OK I think I just missed it by a second or two twice last night. Having said that watching the races wasn't so bad, actually looks quite impressive and nice to see clean racing most of the time. I even noticed that if someone had spun in front of me last night...

The delay between races was a bit long and I usually selected the wrong time to exit free run and would then miss the start of the race and have to watch instead :(
Is there a button I'm meant to press in the lounge to say I'm ready for the race? Not played GT5...
