The menus are currently lacking the full animations found in the desktop version of XBMC but mine look fairly smooth. Are you using the official or unofficial builds? I installed iPlayer and CatchupTV tonight, both are working perfectly.

Fantastic, on the original ATV the option was included in the standard Apple settings menu once jailbroken. I didn't originally have the Nito TV menu as I ran the GP jailbreak over my seas0npass method. Had to restore to factory default and rerun GP.

XBMC library view is brilliant, nice to have all my media organised into the correct order. I've not added many plugins yet but will probably try iPlayer even though it's not really needed as I have Virgin Media V+ at home. I'm slightly concerned that the jailbreak does not have an option to...

I hope you're joking, WM7 is poor and in no way considered to be a business phone OS. A iPhone or Android handset will do a much better job.

It was slow for the first few minutes while scanning my media library but now it is every bit as fast as when I use it on my computer. I'm sure I read that it is currently optimised for the default skin. Are you running the official or unofficial XBMC build?

Micro USB cable purchased and ATV2 jailbroken and XBMC installed without any issues. Very happy with this as my media player.

Bugger :( Thought I had a micro USB cable at home but cannot find it anywhere, will have to wait till the morning before I can jailbreak my ATV.

I may finally buy one of these on the way home tonight and install XBMC onto it. Hopefully more reliable with my networked drive than my Media PC is.

Until XBMC was released the ATV2 was only really useful for people with USA iTunes accounts. For UK only use it was a waste of time.

Until XBMC was released onto it I was not really interested in buying one, I used to own the original ATV.
