I have been considering selling all of my Sony gear and investing in a 7D instead. The alternative is sell my A55 and upgrade to the A77. Not sure what I'll do but I'm definitely tempted to make the switch.

I enjoyed GT5 when played using the G25 and playseat.

I may upgrade my G25 to a Fanatec Porsche 911 GT2 wheel. Probably only buy the wheel for £250 and use my G25 pedals with it.

No framerate issues that posed and problems for me and the graphics are equally as poor as 2010.

I gave in and decided to try this on my PS3 and am happy to report it's much better than many online comments led me to believe. The graphics are no worse than 2010 and no major fps issues on any of the tracks I tested. Monaco was good fun.

Have to decide if I will return my PS3 copy unopened and get it for the 360 instead. Not sure yet.

Unfortunately that's not a option as I'm using a 2009 13" MacBook Pro which isn't massively specced.

I'm away so cannot play this yet but I'm concerned with all the reports of shoddy fps and graphics on the PS3 version. I may return it unopened for the 360 version but then I lose the use of my G25 wheel.

Don't hold your breath waiting for it though as the BBC have said that they are concentrating solely on the iPad iPlayer app for the next year.

No inbuilt card reader compared to the original PS3 but other than that pretty much the same. The Slim makes less noise. I have both a 360 and PS3 and the PS3 gets more use but mainly as a BD player.

Anyone here tested/own a F1 XCM Cross Fire Converter to allow use of a Logitech G25/27 with the 360?

I think I'll buy the MS Speed Wheel, may be a nice compromise if it actually works.

I installed Icefilms plugin last night. Not bad but the interface is terrible and of the 5 files I tried to play only 2 worked.

I wouldn't be too disappointed, your photos from Brands Hatch last weekend are awesome. Access at Knockhill is great, most of the good areas are not ruined by fences for the casual photographer like me.
